One of Spotify’s most popular features is the Discover Weekly playlist that recommends music based on your listening choices, and now they’re putting that same tech to use to let you know about new releases from the artists you already care about.
Android: If you find yourself enjoying every song you hear at a bar or club but don’t want to pull out your phone to identify every song, Shazam can now keep listening in the background for as long as you’d like.
Spotify just upgraded it’s family plan so that’s it’s a much better deal. You can now have up to six members on a plan for just $14.99 a month, which just so happens to match Apple Music’s own family plan.

Spotify on iOS was updated today with free streaming for all users in shuffle mode. Free streaming had been previously available to iPad and Android users, but the update brings the feature to everyone on iOS. Read more here.
