About four years ago I did one of those 48-hour film contests with my friends. They gave us a few requirements: we had to use the line "I believe anyone can change," one character had to be name Claude or Claudette and be a guitarist, and the required prop was a hat—and after learning these requirements we had to write and produce a film before the 48 hour deadline was up. So I wrote this and we shot it with whatever props and gear we happened to have. No, I'm obviously not an actor, but someone had to be Doctor Dan.

I had actually never heard of "Free to Be... You and Me," so the name was just a coincidence. And I don't mean to demean any actual transgender puppets that may be watching.
